Individual treatment for adults 18 and over using solution-focused, conitive behavioral strategies and neurobiological techniques to achieve your personal treatment goals. Brainspotting methods are incorporated in small ways within the 50 - 60 minutes of time allowed by insurance companies. Most insurances are accepted for this mode of treatment.
In these 2 hour time blocks, clients target specific issues that are activating their sympathetic nervous system and causing OCD, general anxiety, depression, panic, flashbacks and poor performance in their daily lives. These sessions are ideal for local or out-of-town clients who want to maximize symptom reduction with fewer visits. Because of the longer time allowed, brainspotting can be used without interruption allowing the client to get the most benefit from this treatment method.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
This is a relatively new treatment modality in which Ketamine is dosed, in this case orally, in conjunction with a psychotherapeutic intent and integration. Dr. Jacobs has advanced training in this modality from The Integrative Psychiatry Institute. Clients are partnered with either their own prescriber who has experience with KAP or with Journey Clinical Inc., an online clinic specializing in KAP. Treatment involves intention setting sessions prior to dosing and integrations after dosing, both of which can typically billed to insurance. The dosing sessions themselves last approx 2 hours and are not covered by insurance. You can read more about this treatment at www.journeyclinical.com.
Sports and Performance Brainspotting Intensives
Sports injuries and previous psychological trauma can often impede performance whether on the playing field or stage. Brainspotting is a powerful emerging neurobiological tool used to help clients overcome anxiety and other performance related issues.
